Not to worry, it will only be available to the very wealthy.

Not for long. As with all mass medicines, it becomes very cheap because they can make it in bulk.

I'd rather you put the money into saving children and ending suffering. Old age does not need curing, but the medical companies know with the increasing older population it's big business.

Old age does not need curing, you're right, but some of the ailments that come with it I would happily do without. Ten years ago I was fit and healthy; now I am not, and I am only 63.

I'm sure the government will see this as an excuse to raise the retirement age!

You think everyone else should pay for your 40 year retirement? And I bet you think its the young that are entitled.

And the cheeky b.u.g.g.e.r.s. keep trying to claim the state pension a benefit! it most certainly is not, it was paid for out of wages!

Imagine what the UK, and Europe, will be like in 20 years, then ask yourself, "Do I really want to be around for this?" Pensioners are already being abused, and treated with contempt, as it is.

Great....but only for the super filthy rich. Cannot see for a moment the masses getting this.

Would I still have to read Daily Mail articles with that extra third? Let me rethink this....

Cancer cells are immortal, folks. These researchers are not fixing anything--they are trying to manipulate the rich, greedy few. and honestly, I don't even believe their findings.

Only cancer stem cells are immortal. The majority of cancer cells are not! Reading all your post, I think there is a lot of earth rammed between your ears!

Progeria isn't the same as aging, it just has some similar symptoms. It's good that they've found a treatment, but making a short-lived diseased mouse live longer than another short-lived diseased mouse probably doesn't have much to say about aging in humans.

Old people will be trooping up to pay for this rejuvenation if it ever gets out of the mice stage and approved by the FDA. Imagine the billions and billions the developers of this technique will make. It would be bigger than the internet.

Why even bother telling us when it could be 10 years from now that human trials start?

Medical companies will do everything to make you live longer. Their boss need our money to buy his new properties.

The thought of Blair & co being around for even longer is not good one. Had enough of him already.
