This is the adorable moment a four-month-old polar bear was caught on camera practising her yoga poses at a zoo in Russia.

The flexible cub was spotted contorting herself into bizarre positions at Novosibirsk Zoo by 25-year-old photographer Veronika Zaeva.

She was clearly in the zone as she twisted herself into uncomfortable positions - but as soon as she realised he was being watched she came over all shy.

The bear, named Shilka, was born in December last year to mother Gerda and has become a major attraction for visitors to the zoo.

Ms Zaeva said: 'It was so fun watching and photographing her - all positive emotions. She is a real actor - hundreds of visitors gather every day to watch her. It looks like she loves it - she loves to be the centre of attention, and entertain the visitors.'
