i 'caught' an owl once! it flew into my windshield and was knocked out on the side of the road. it was winter, about 3am, so i was afraid it might still be alive but die if i left it there. so i got a blanket out of my truck and swaddled it and set in on the passenger seat. the heater was on and it woke up about 10 minutes later. it didn't struggle at all and i took it in to work with me. kept it swaddled and warm for about an hour to make sure it was fully alert then took it outside and set it on the ground. he was about 2' feet tall and his wingspan was over 6'. it opened it's wings, flapped a few times and it was gone.[CN]
