Two men who terrorised residents in Jiangsu, east China, by killing and abducting their pet dogs have finally been apprehended.[CN]
中国东部江苏省，诱拐杀害宠物狗引起当地居民恐慌的两疑犯最终被捉拿归案。
The suspects, who have not been named, used crossbows and transquilisers to subdue and kill the animals according to People's Daily Online.[CN]

Over the course of their two-month spree, the pair killed hundreds of animals.[CN]

According to reports, the pair have been on the road since March this year, travelling from Changzhou to Danyang on a motorbike.[CN]

On May 12, after successfully killing several animals in Danyang, one of the two men was captured by the police.[CN]

A policeman involved in the case told local reporters: 'Worryingly, police found a crossbow at the scene.[CN]
'There were also more than 10 transquiliser darts and seven dead dogs.'
The suspect, who is currently being detained, admitted to killing hundreds of dogs according to People's Daily.
It is thought the two men also kidnapped some of the dogs.
These crimes were often carried out in broad daylight.
It's not clear what the men were doing with the dead animals as the case is still under investigation by the local police.
Something wrong with Chinese for sure, I personally take a oath to not to buy any Chinese no matter what. I know what else we can do to teach them? Pets are like kids, why kill them for fun. Can they do same to kids too. Sick really.[CN]
