If someone wants a tattoo who are we to critique them? They don't come up to us and ask why we have our haircut in a certain way! Life is about choices, what we choose to do to our own body is through choice. some of these tattoos are amazing and the artist has an amazing talent.[CN]
@Viejo- just because you don't think they're art doesn't mean they aren't. Obviously you can't get far enough past that they are on someone's skin to see how incredible the artwork is. That's your loss, not anyone else's.[CN]
The body created by God is already a work of art...no additions are needed.[CN]
I don't understand the appeal of tattoos. The way they change as the person ages means they look terrible in time and not representative of the original image. I imagine that lots of people in there 20-30's today will regret covering themselves in tattoos when they are older.[CN]
Yes, a friend of mine was over 90 years old and all his tattoos were just blue blobs. You couldn't even guess what they had been. Another man I worked with wanted to get his tattoos removed, and it wasn't until he was on the operating table and had three cut off, that they found out he was a bleeder. He almost died.[CN]
All our bodies change as we age. Scars, tattoos, whatever are part of our bodies tapestry of life. Having regrets is part of life too.Someone else's regrets may not be yours and vise versa. Live and let live.[CN]
I don't think it bothers him Mark one bit but lets face it it is getting a bit boring now. The trend will end soon like all fashion fads. Then in later years it will came back again. Many people here attending clinics to get now unwanted art removed.[CN]
Each to their own... must admit it's not something I think looks nice on people... but it's not my thoughts that count. If some people like tattoos on themselves and others that's fine, it's their choice...[CN]
If it is washable I have no problems with any tattoo on a body. But if it is permanent then I cann't grasp those people. You have to walk with it for the rest of your life. What is hot today is a joke within a few years. Then comes the regret . . .[CN]
Well tattoos have been around for hundreds of years so I don't think we need to worry about them going out of fashion. As far as regretting, what is life without a few regrets? It's better than a life so dull there is nothing to regret.[CN]
You can never trust a person with tattoos, they often have a hidden agenda. Believe me, I learnt the hard way[CN]
I admire some of the original artwork, but these guys when they get old, fat, saggy and bald, look awful.[CN]
