it is such a beautiful thing to make a child happy, when a child smiles at you its like the sun coming out. I bet the staff at Disney love the feeling too, job satisfaction in a big way.

Really heart warming story. I have always been impressed by the overall professionalism in Disney's theme parks - especially compared to the ones in the UK. This just raises them up another notch. Well done!

I worked at Disney in the corporate office and must say that creating magical experiences for guests is their #1 goal after their safety.

Another ad for Disney. Do they pay a living wage and recognise unions? No, I thought not...

Why can't children the world over be taught sign language at primary school....we should all be able to communicate with deaf people in this day and age.

We have been seven times over the past years and although I cant make the journey any more I am glad to see that Disney has not lost any of the magic that it has had. A wonderland of happiness in this horrible world and I would advise anyone to save like mad and take the trip of a lifetime.

The majority of comments on here are lovely! But, as always, there are a few nasty comments that need addressing. Being Deaf means being part of a culture with shared values, experiences, behaviors and a beautiful language that's very important to them. Terms like "disabled" and "hearing impaired" aren't nice terms because they don't see themselves as disabled or impaired. And to the very ignorant commenter who believes having Deaf children is "abuse", please get an education, you're an embarrassment.

who the he11 are you? Why is "hearing impaired" bad when you're hearing is impaired? If you are deaf you can't hear music, you can't hear people calling your name from behind you, you can't hear people saying "look out!" its an impairment and those with the impairment don't need you to blow smoke on their behalf. take your PC lecture and stick it.
