Arguably, at least they lived wild and free before they were slaughtered, unlike the 58 billion animals killed each year on factory farms who have never seen an act of human kindness... and never will. Isn't this what s termed as "Free-range meat" - and apparently that's OK? - at least for those who eat meat. As angry as this makes me, I am no more or less angry about these whales than I am about the horrific conditions animals are treated across the world - all in the name of meat and dairy.ginachron
This is a horrific practice that needs to end. There's nothing 'traditional' about using tracking devices, radio communications and speed boats to find whales and herd them to the slaughter. Several years ago the Faroe Islands Chief Medical Officer stated that due to high levels of mercury, pilot whales should no longer be considered fit for human consumption. Time now for the islanders to consign the grind to history and join the 21st century.C.j. Finney
My disgust at these ignorant and foul specimens of so called humanity knows no bounds....how they can class themselves as human is beyond me.....sickening..I would call for sanctions..lets so how they cling to their beloved traditions when no one in the world will send goods to them....evil and totally barbaricjohndrake
this is so sick these animals are so clever emotional ... they live in tight family groups sing with joy are gentle . we take the innocent beings of they sea and defile them .. often human nature is so beneath most other species .. its not right and unnecessary. there should be a ban and protection of the species regardless of what sea their in .. politicians do little ..
