I don't favor it, but if there were a one child policy in the United States it would simply not result in a gender imbalance as it did in China. You can see proof of that in IVF gender selection, where US couples seeking the treatment slightly prefer girls.

Smart but keep them in China. In the US they would take you for every dime!
