Novosibirsk is a BIG russian city, with lots of people (even many rich people). Unfortunately, there are more women than men in Russia, and our law only allows for only one wife. So there are lots of single beatiful women! If a bunch of Chinese men come to find themselves a wife to Russia, I see no problem with that! Sounds like a normal routine, can happen in any country. Althought somebody is making money off this, and thats whats "impressive".

China had a previous one child policy which basically discriminated against female babies. Now there is an imbalance or shall I say surplus of 100M men in China in comparison with the women. This does not sound a lot out of a population of 1.3B people but this exists nowhere in the world. Russia still has slightly surplus women as a lot of men were killed during WW2 so this arrangement makes sense in a way.
