Having lived in Dalston, NE London I can say yes. I welcome our kebab, pide and gözleme carrying brothers and sisters. I especially welcome those with delicious Efes beer. You can keep menelik though. How do you mess up an scrambled egg?

As the Jesuits say, "give me a child until the age of seven, and I will show you the screwed up, emotionally scarred, superstitious, compliant and subservient man who knows not to go blabbing to the police", or something like that.

I think the British have lost all their faith because they have seen what religion does, it causes friction and wars.

I cannot speak for others but I stopped going to Church because I think the church itself lost sight of what it believed in and stood for. Friction is caused by politics and land grabbing greed not Christianity. However, I do worry about where that leaves us in terms of a future society dominated by all and nothing and a doctrine of atheism based on survival of the fittest ( science and evolution)

Interesting that the part of UK with the highest religious followers (NI) is also the area which has given the most violence oner the past 40 years.

Widen the net a little and you'll find ordinary, everyday people responsible for the deaths of millions of unborn children every year.

or millions of cells save from a life of living in a family that didn't really want them, couldn't afford them.

Ive got nothing against those that are religious, however in my opinion, religion is the bane of humanity. A tool used by the ruling elite to control the masses. Religion has caused nothing but problems.

Chrisianity may be declining but what to they mean by 'non-believers' ? Atheists or people that are not Christians? Conveniently there is no mention of the religion on the increase!

You'll find it's irreligious sentiments are higher than reported. My mum, for example, will stick Christian on a census. But she's a nominal Christian. Deist would better describe her. And even then it's for reasons of comfort, as oppose to any rational belief in a higher power. And then there are other families' children that don't get a choice to answer honestly like I would.

Not sure why the quotation marks became upside down question marks.

If one was to say they believe in Mermaids and go to the sea each week to speak to the ones that they have never seen, because they read a book written by a talented writer instructing them that Mermaids need worshipping - They would be deemed NUTS..

Its fine if people want to believe in a God, just do not force it upon others. its a personal thing and should stay that way.

My beliefs are to be a good person and treat other that I share this world with with respect. To make sure my children and grandchildren grow up knowing the difference between right and wrong. To me that's more important in this world than to worship a being that has never been proven and that causes lots of trouble in different countries and communities.

When you take into account the people who claim to be C of E because of cultural reasons and do not attend churches ( or even less believe ), the figure for Christians is much lower.

Whilst I agree with your comment Hemingway , you will get no joy with your opinion on this site .............as people are too bra.in/.washed by the media. People , generally, are totally ignorant of the REAL plan .It seems , like me , that you are aware of the na tion that is responsible for the fall of Christianity ( the "un.mention/able country " ).
