If the news media wasn't biased in favor of Obama, the press would be blaming Obama too. In four instances, the President's involvement in a local issue escalated it to national news. In each case, Obama condemned the police action without knowing the facts. In each case, Obama was wrong and the police were eventually proven to have been correct. The cases were the Martin-Zimmerman fiasco where he condemned the police for not arresting Zimmerman; the professor in Cambridge who refused to identify himself at what appeared to be a crime scene (it wasn't a crime scene but the police arrived because they were called with a report of a break-in). In that instance Obama called the police "stupid"! The Ferguson situation where Obama and Holder escalated the situation by taking the word of the thug's robbery accomplice over the word of the police officer. DOJ and Holder admit to sending over 400 FBI agents to Ferguson to attempt to find a credible witness against the cop. They failed!
Your point is well taken. The media have always been biased, the owners and publishers and station owners have traditionally wielded enormous power over influencing public opinion. Were it not for the invention of the home computers, the internet with its' World wide coverage, and the smart phones, people would still be in the dark as to the agenda that they push.
Today, one can cross reference articles, videos, and radio frequencies from around the Globe, to find other sources of information, that lend balance to what one sees and hears, whereas not so long ago, this would take hours, if not days and weeks of research in libraries. It is getting harder and harder for Politicians and others to get by with their lies.
Yet many of those same elites, would be the first to impose regulations or taxation upon the Internet.

Good or Cruz - Obama has had the media in his back pocket since day 1 and nobody will stand up to Obama (except for the leaders of other countries). Obama has divided this country like no other !!!

Cruz is absolutely right. If not for all the back up from Obama, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder and Jesse Jackson when black hoodlums were defying law enforcement, this would not be happening. They have led black thugs to thing they can do anything they want and this is their way of fighting against the law. When the president of the USA comes out saying if I had a son he'd look like this, when he comes out calling law enforcement stupid, it only opens the flood gates for additional disrespect for the law. This is what happened. Obama and his co-horts should be held accountable or these attacks against law enforcement. Just another way this president has caused a divide between the races. He has only caused more racism from the blacks and more disgust from the whites. These guys have blood on their hands.
Go Cruz and remember we need a president for all the people. Most people learned Obama's agenda when it comes to Blacks, many know Trumps views are outrageous though he's hits some key issues. And neurosurgeon Carson need to open his brain to politics before he tries running from the heart (we don't need a sympathizer in office. As for Bush we had our fill of Bushes and not the garden variety.
