It will take generations of education to change their mentality. Putting bits of animals in food/medicine for a cure all, and ivory for ornaments, how backward are they.

Seriously the demand for this medieval mumbo jumbo is China. The west will not impose sanctions on China because we have been emasculated. The peasants in Burma will just keep killing them.

Everyone who finds this offensive should vow to consciously not buy Chinese goods. It's not going to be easy because in the last 15 years they've flooded the market with their cheap garbage. If everyone just bought even a few less Chinese made goods every week, that would make a big impact. You can find good made in America or other countries but it may take some looking. There are websites that tell you what goods are made here and where & how to buy them. Letting China know that we are deliberately making a statement against their human & animal abuse practices will get their attention. The Annual Dog Meat Festival is coming up soon and guess where? Maybe that will get you started on boycotting Chinese goods .

In this day and age it beggars belief that so many people are still so ill educated that they believe the ludicrous idea that certain foods and charms and/or jewellery will cure all of your ills, ward off evil or bring you good luck.

How low can the human race stoop? I boycott Chinese manufactured goods as much as possible but it's not easy. And with their population growing so fast things will only get worse, sadly

And people say that keeping animals in zoos is cruel. Well, with so many idiots on the planet it's probably the only way to ensure that some creatures continue to exist. I mean, it's the 21st century and people are still killing animals because they think their body parts have magic properties. It's absolutely tragic.

Once the s c u m m y c h i n e s e reach 3 billion there won't be any elephant or rhino alive in the wild.

Why can't the poachers be given the death penalty, for killing fellow creatures on this our earth, who have as much right as we humans have to exist in peace and harmony, sharing the planet we live on.
