It said they found it after an explosion in a cave. So it could have been already dead from the explosion. Otherwise if alive the construction workers would have all been dinner and we wouldn't know anything about it. In another topic I bet those people in documentaries are mad because they have been searching for the largest in years.

As for the bloke who keeps snakes as "exotic pets" ...your next door neighbour soon, folks?
