You people are weird. You're all "sad" about this snake but then many of you probably eat animals too. Just shut up for once, every time there is an animal story half of Britain comes out with fists swinging protesting the inhumanity. Very bizarre.Doneem
Those commenting by saying the snake would eat you - The snake could easily kill you but eat you? I doubt it unless it's a small child. Pythons and anaconda's although Huge and eat large pray will struggle to get its jaws around human shoulders.BD
Why has this dam project been allowed to progress in the first place. I find it absolutely disgusting that they have been allowed to destroy mass areas of pristine forest and habitat so that the government can harness the electricity for greedIvaf
Of course those low lifes killed it. It's still moving and curling in the photo of it danging from the digger. B@@stardsTruculence
The title say is this the biggest snake ever? No, it is not the biggest snake ever. This is tiny compared to years ago before humans when the beasts ruled the earth. Then the snakes were hundreds of times bigger than this.TrueGrit
Love snakes. Used to raise them as pets. My favorite were the Argentinian boas. Got a pair at the International Reptile Show in San Diego when they were the size of a pencil and raised them for 8 years. One of the most docile and easy going boas, next to say a Ball or common boa. The anacondas are available as pets, but they are very aggressive and grow uncontrollably, regardless of their enclosure/environment.Its Ok to disagree
It's definitely alive when on the crane as you can tell my the muscle tone and coils. If they did kill it then they probably squashed it with the crane as it's head looks crushed on the video and part of it's body looks flat. I keep snakes. Beautiful, shy, gentle creatures. Only dangerous when really scared or, in the wild, very hungry. I love the checker board tummy. Just like my snakes. Sweet.
