Earlier today Swedish media reported that officials from the local security services are in a "heightened state of readiness" in connection with a potential terror threat because according to these same reports, several Islamic State fighters have arrived in Sweden to carry out attacks on civilian targets in the capital Stockholm.

"Right now we're gathering information and intelligence and coordinating with our national and international partners,” security police (Säpo) press spokesman Simon Bynert told the TT news agency.

He added that Säpo is also cooperating with the national police service. "That means we're sharing this information with them to see if they can implement measures that fall under their remit."

The Swedish Expressen newspaper reported that the country's security service received information from their Iraqi colleagues about an imminent terror threat in the country. About seven to eight Islamic State terrorists arrived in Sweden to carry out attacks in Stockholm, Expressen sources claimed and added that "according to the information, the terrorists are planning to attack civilian targets in the capital.'

Let's bring a hundred thousand to the US where they can skip customs because our security means so much to .gov. Oh, wait, they are already skipping customs when they get here.

Jeepers, how does someone downvote what the Swedes are telling the world? I know, it violates the Progressive's narrative.

The Brits have a unique bomb in their paveway bombs. They were called on a lot in the Gulf Wars to use those on certain targets.

What is so unique about a British Paveway ? As a USAF weapons there is no major difference between a British paveway gen 3 , and one used by the USAF the only difference is the bomb bodies and even then there are only a few pounds difference between the weight of the bomb bodies and in the weight of explosive fillers,The seeker heads are the same and all are made by Raytheon

Carl, I in no way said it was better than the USAF. Other than the US the Brits are about the only ones that have these types of bombs. Not the only ones but the list is very short.

The quickest way to stop them is to stop the money flow. You cannot arm and sustain an army without funding. The oil wells and refineries are their biggest source of funds, but the allies refuse to blow them up, preferring to damage them, because they see the value in them after ISIS is defeated. Greed has and will prolong this war.

Economic reality..not greed.

Collateral damage = economic reality

Nah...it's only too easy with today's know how to reinstall a pumper. Some of those wells have indeed been destroyed. On top of that, the real damage is taking place when allies bomb the trucks delivering the crude. ISIS can't find drivers unless they enslave them to run suicide missions.

Don't waste perfectly good and expensive bombs! Just find the head of the snake Baghdadi and take that turd's head off on live broadcast.

I didn't read anywhere in this article where the RAF goes "Knock, Knock" we are going to drop a bomb on you.... they just go in and do what's necessary.... I would like the U.S. military would do the same thing.... Hit them where it hurts... no warning shots....
