France has been just as active as the UK, but some countries really don't want to get involved. Germany has a much bigger economy than France and the UK but never raises a finger and is quite happy to scrounge off America , France and Britain for it's defence
yet they have issues spending 2% of gnp as requested to fund NATO. But depend on NATO to deter Russian aggression. They have to spend it somewhere for defense......oh wait.....they are piggy backing off of the US.
