We should be thankful for the Atlantic Ocean otherwise a few million Americans would be better off coming over here.amwbfh
Been here a long time and have seen this other side. Had friends visit and they were shocked at the real deal outside of the resorts. There is a weird mix here, poverty and riches nestling side by side. In some of the fancy neighbourhoods its odd to see the Mc Mansion right next door to the concrete block dump. It may look like paradise, but sunshine isn't all you need to be happy. There is shocking poverty here as well. I suspect the same in most cities around the world. But the Mickey Mouse image persists.Firehose
Lots of countries have regions where some people reproduce despite not being able to afford the resulting costs. The practice leads to a great deal of misery.NHMikeUSA
Obama-land. 95,000,000 American NOT working. And he and his Dem and RINO's all think everything is normal and good. What losers. This is ALL their fault.SweedeofSOFLA
"In one of his most striking images, a young girl sits on the floor in what appears to be the remnants of a house. Tightly grasped in her hand is a snake. It is not clear what happened to the property. Perhaps it was damaged in an earthquake or became so dilapidated it was bulldozed."Whoever wrote this is not aware of the fact that Florida does not have earthquakes large enough to demolish a home.... Maybe a hurricane did it???
