Couple plague their neighbor with texts asking him to be silent EVERY time their baby has a nap - even when he's being quiet. So who's in the right?

每次女儿睡觉,夫妇皆短信轰炸邻居要他保持安静,即便他不出声时也不例外。谁是谁非呢?

In the past people have been driven to killing neighbors due to noise. Just keep it down.

NOBODY could live next to a drummer inside an apartment. Seems as if management agrees.

Daily Mail, how many articles are you going to carry on lifting from American newspapers? Is there not enough news here to keep you going? Please stop it ... not only is it not relevant butI hate all the American spellings etc.

Well, guess what? Us Americans hate the way you Brits spell, too! You use too many vowels in the spelling of many words, and totally different spellings for others that look just ridiculous to us. We definitely raised the bar when it comes to spelling the English language.

Though most Americans spoke Spanish.

Your spelling is still too mired in French. We fixed it for you.

Never mind it's a difficult language to grasp I suppose it's easier to dumb it down for you Americans.

Crank it up when you receive a text/call/knock. See how quickly they stop bothering you.

Sounds like a poorly made apartment, and no way anyone can play the drums in an apartment! I lived next to someone who did this, and it shakes the whole floor and walls. Rent a studio if you play a loud instrument. He sounds like a typical young guy who is loud, noisy TV, loud stereo, and plays the drums.

Why on earth are you spelling neighbour without the "u"

I've had a baby that's hard to settle, literally slept on the floor nxt to his cot.. I think the neighbours have shown a lot off respect here..vwhen Tom wouldn't settle I would've quite happily strangled someone. I couldn't think off anything worse then living underneath a drummer!

Girl in the USA - if someone was drumming in an apartment, he was probably disturbing a load of other people too. It's actually very anti-social to make such a loud noise which other people will be affected by. He should use headphones or soundproof his room.

Based on these comments it seems that all the British people like peace and quiet and all the yanks hate babies. Wierd. Wonder why.

In UK it is neighbour. Neighbor is the American spelling.

We had a drummer that lived across the street from us. He would play in his garage, usually with the door closed, and you could hear him half way down the block. I'm amazed they were able to tolerate any drumming at all. And, if the drummer is like my husband, his hearing is impaired from years of playing a loud instrument and has to turn the television way up to hear the show he's watching. I'm very sympathetic to the downstairs neighbor. When you live next to someone loud your life becomes hostage to their whims.

No. This guy has an electric kit. They do not make any noise at all. You would hardly hear anyone playing even in the next room to be honest. The drum heads are made of rubber or mesh. It is NOTHING like an accoustic drum-kit in terms of volume. To be honest chopping vegetables probably makes as much noise.

The guy was practising drumming in a block of flats. His neighbours should have applied for an ASBO !
