This is the sort of child we should be dealing with not the 18 year olds from Calais.

Time to stop the war in Syria so that children like this can live peacefully in the country of their birth,

This, DM, is what deserves the word horror. What most in the west doesn't understand is how intensely tribal most of the world is. For most of us the closest we get to tribal is who's your sports team. Most of the world is still fighting multigenerational conflicts spanning hundreds of years. It is mind boggling that over the years it is often under the rule of despotic strong men that things are the most peaceful, relatively speaking. Both civil war and power vacuums create atrocities. Always have. We are just now shown the reality.

Why does the DM purposely fail to state who is and has been bombing Aleppo on behalf of the Assad regime?

Rather him than my family, it's sad, but we need to destroy the bad people before Europe crumbles.

This is someone who needs sanctuary. Not like these violent economic migrants terrorising Calais.

As a dad of two young boys, I felt like vomiting at that photo of that innocent young boy. Wish the world could call a ceasefire for a year so as to regroup and rethink why we need to be killing each other. I am a 14 year US Navy veteran. War sucks.

I don't think any civilized person could not be touched and saddened by this, I do think we can help children and women in war zones but I am not prepared to accept young men who leave their women and children to perish who try to enter Europe with their mobile phones and designer t shirts while their families suffer, that is not acceptable in my book, red arrow away.
