By that logic you can be led to believe anything. The best is religion-- many people believe in it knowing that they'll only realize if they've wasted all that time in church and praying after they've already died.

beg to differ, US stealth tech uses russian equations which they can beat using 1940s technology that they deploy as standard.on standard NATO spec radars they can reduce the reflection rates to the size of a large bird usually ignored by radar computers but it can still be detected if you look for a large bird flying at 40,000 feet at 400mph.

Best check the Kite mark otherwise it may explode when you plug it in.

When you show someone how to make something for you and then give them the job of doing so, it should come as no surprise that they go off and make something for themselves.

"Stealth" technology is military technology - the West would not be "giving" this to China or asking them to make it ... so not sure what point you're making

Of course. The entire history of human development should tell you that if you can figure out how to do something really clever, then there's somebody else, at least as clever, doing just the same thing. And therefore it won't be very long before they figure out how to beat you at your own game. The advantage of innovation is only ever momentary.

They figured this out in the mid 90s over Bosnia. This has been on military web sites for a couple of weeks now. They can locate the area the plane is in. That does not mean they can lock onto the plane with a weapon.

The game is in making the big claims. The USA must test its weapons systems as the government is accountable for its purchases, and it has tested them in many wars (not a good thing, but at least they get to test them in real combat situations). China knows that it can make big claims that it probably wont need to back up. They don't need to provide any proof that anything they have works, as their government isn't held accountable for anything. Nothing that they have has been battle tested. But they can always play 'chicken', creating enough reason to fear/doubt that they will be taken seriously, because what if they are telling the truth? They know that the uncertainty itself carries power.

Shame, what a pity, the US have moved on from their old fashioned Stealth programme !! In the past 10 years they have unearthed a real game changer; "Super-heroes" !! Captain America, Ironman, Spidey (to his friends) and Donald the Trump - what a line up, what a team !!

by exploiting resonances on the low observable, it is possible to "see" it. This would require an ultra wideband radar to serve up the resonant frequencies of the LO. This has been known for many years in the military, but I am not aware of any systems that have been developed.

Typical Western arrogance and ignorance, chinese are good at creating and inventing. don't forget chinese invented Gunpowder, compass, paper, printing, paper money, toilet paper, rockets, mines, silk, umbrella, noodles, golf, football, porcelain, Alloy steel, Seismometer and so on, all these were hundreds years advanced then Westerns. When China was great country of invention, western countries even don't know what is technology. You guys just believed god created the world. Later you stolen all these technologies from China, China just lost inventions in Qing Dynasty, because that time China was ruled by barbarian Manchu, they were afraid of chinese so banned inventions and technology in Qing Dynasty. But now chinese are free again, and can invent all what they want. If you guys don't believe it, then just watch BBC and discovery : Ancient Chinese Inventions, or Inventions that europeans never invented, ancient chinese inventions. or check List of chinese inventions on wikipedia

The Americans will be panicking now and looking to increase their military budget even more. Further crippling their economy. Times up.

Look carefully the next time you see a big new defense, space, or computer demonstration. Standing quietly in the background there will almost always be a Chi nese dude.
