There are a few military aplicationsi can think of.It small and fast it could be used to evacuate an injured soldier. Resupply soldiers. Mount a mini gun to it. It is a practical drone. Small fast and can carry a good load

So the home of capitalism is buying up companies and run by the state. Why doesn't the UK do the same instead of selling off UK industry. Even America knows follow the free market model.

I know why a "military" firm has bought the company and possibly one day US soldiers may go into battle using these (as the article suggests) - It's because then the US Military can then say "look, no actual boots on the ground" when they go into a country, because they'll all be hovering just above it!!!

To any DM articles which start with 'is this' or 'will this', the answer is always 'no'.

Although not practical today with its extreme noise and limitations, it is an amazing breakthrough that will at some point be refined to something that could be useful.

Pretty sure they use pilotless drones for a reason..
