The list goes on but it's not taking a priority because the media isn't telling us to pay attention to it, so we will fixate our lives on the fear of terrorism. We are controlled by the media. Like it or not, greed is the emotion that has given the human race the desire to succeed. The whole capitalist system is based on greed and the desire to acquire wealth. Without it, the modern industrial world with all its benefits and ills, would never have happened. Greed will continue to be a driving force in human and social evolution.

Don't lose sight of the fact that the mass hysteria that is the pokemon game, and all the other electronic time wasting devices are only invented, produced and marketed so that someone can make a profit. These devices have no real value to mankind, their only reason for existing is profit. I totally agree stupidity seems to be more prevalent now than ever before. A lot of it is to do with the fact the Internet and social media have given stupid people a platform! Also young people aspire to be millionaires through being a celebrity doing nothing .. It's sad.
