So much for German efficiency. If that had been the UK he would have had Citizenship a new passport, money and a house within 24/48 hours. My Pointless Views
That is one of the funniest things I've read on here for quite a while. Brilliant !My Pointless Views
Was he on his own in the country ? Or was there a wife or travelling companion waiting for him back at the hotel ?YusufislamReply toRuralYorkshire
I was thinking the same1 They can't even work out he's a Mandarin speaker even with a passport and visa who DOESN'T want asylum yet they believe a 13 year-old Afghan who says he's a 30 year-old Syrian. Their country must be full of people they know nothing about! I actually couldn't stop laughing when I read about the crass incompetence of the German authorities.YusufislamReply toForingbart
Probably got more than that during his 'enforced stay'! You can see now how easy it would be to be a 30 year-old Tibetan pretending to be a 15 year-old Kurd in Germany now though! This guy gave them his passport AND visa and still they couldn't work out he was Chinese and required a Mandarin speaker! Good-bye Germany, you were such a great country and now the decline and fall begins!Charles
Classic...you get a visitor to your country and automatically assume he's a 'refugee'...you couldn't make it up!
