No if it was in 1940,s they would mistake him for a Japanese ally !

I can't begin to imagine the poor man's confusion and him on his holidays! At least the mistake was realised in 12 days and not a few years time!

You couldn't make it up! In the UK the poor bloke would probably have found himself booked in to the same hotel!

Tess.
So he could travel to Germany but was incapable of making a phone call to friends or to his Embassy? Or of writing a letter? Hmm.

If he would have asked for a translator or used a computer/mobile phone they could have understood what he needed. No excuse for this.

Look how they converted those containers into dinky little flats. Send Kevin McCloud over to admire.

So can we all claim refugee status as it's so easy? Quite fancy a nice free home in Bavaria and weekly handouts.

What a trip. He will have some unique stories to tell when he returns to China.

Goes to Germany without learning the phrase "Chinese embassy please" in German.

"A poster aimed at refugees which read 'Welcome to Germany' was placed on a wall in Dortmund, Germany"... We know. We can read.

And you thought, germans got no humour. Brilliant.

The Germans and the Japanese are extremely proficient at throwing people into prison camps, so this shouldn't have come as a great surprise to him.

So just rock up to the front desk, claim you don't speak the lingo and BOOM you're in, is it really that easy?? I can't believe they didn't raise eyebrow when they saw his Chinese passport, I would imagine that nationality is somewhat of a minority in the refugee camps??
