Well, that's something to tell his Grandchildren.

Those containers used to house refugees in Germany ( last photo) are used in the UK (Brighton) as one bedroom homes for local people! So, does that mean Germany's refugees are doing as well as British citizens, or are British citizens now no better off than refugees?

Their 'machinery' is dysfunctional. Germany isn't what it used to be. Who wouldn't think to get a translator or app first thing. They all appear to have perma-refugee brain.

Well, he certainly won't go home singing "Ich hab' mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren" (I lost my heart in Heidelberg). Ridiculous story. Heidelberg is no village, it has a major university, and nobody at the police station is smart enough to call in help when a customer turns up speaking only one of the most widely spoken languages. Lots of face lost here.

Just goes to show they take anyone at all...no questions asked. Anyone tell me why the ''welcome'' signs are in English...shouldn't that read ''Willkommen in Deutschland''? They must know UK is their eventual destination?
