History shows that civilisations are doomed when they let in too many immigrants - especially ones that don't want to integrate, and want to maintain their backwards cultures. That is what destroyed the Roman Emppire.

worst thing is if the barbar ians do take over there is no hope for humanity advancing along the lines we westerners have set. the protected ones that are intent on taking over dont have the freedom required to expand as a people. our leftie governments cant see these dangers and instead of alerting and schooling our people re ligiously while young etc, so to speak, about fertility/ birth rates and how important it is, theyd prefer to see our existance asigned to the dustbin of history. im presuming ofc that the governments agenda is to enhance the birth rate with the in vaders....

Societies fail when people do not want to work (so turn to crime), government become despotic ruling by enforcing silly and stupid laws and people do not want to obey any laws at all. Does this sound familiar?

When a country starts to lose its cultural identity and common cohesiveness, it is doomed; and if it then makes itself reliant on the forces that helped cause it to lose those qualities, it is definitely doomed. This is what happened to Rome, and is slowly but surely happening to Europe and Britain. It is a pity that our politicians cannot see it.

Europe is doomed as Millions and Millions of people will arrive there in the next 10, 20, 30 years from war torn A frica and I will predict that wars will ensue because of these peoples petty squabbling will come with them and what we see in the news now will unfortunately become commonplace in Europe, destroying their culture and way of life.

''the roman empire failed becaus eit strecthed itself too far over other countries rather than because fo an imigrant problem.''It was the debt of fighting wars and because the immigrants didn't integrate and/or respect the Roman culture.

the Roman empire ultimately collapsed because it was too big and unmanageable, those 'ruling' the places at the greatest distance from Rome had no genuine allegiance to the empire and therefore began to govern with self-interest (greater personal reward) rather than loyalty (which might be recognised and rewarded by the state)...because of the debt accrued on running and ruling an empire that had overstretched the capacity to run it...and because those at the top became too lazy, self-congratulatory and self-indulgent to notice that they needed to do something about ti.

I agree with you that collectivism works in a small scale (Kibbutz), as do market forces (small, independent traders in a market town). The problems arise when these two ideas become political philosophies.

And the crime is that people like Blair knew and exploited open door immigration exactly to effect 'change' to UK for political reasons, as shown in intercepted emails sent by his team, and strangely not used by Cameron in a GE election battle with immigration at its core. Premeditated attempt to reengineer and breakdown European societies by political forces.

I don't mind people covering their bodies on the beach or anywhere else, but I object in the strongest possible way to allowing anyone to hide their face in public. The UK needs to follow France and ban all face coverings AND enforce such a ban. If this means certain people won't leave the house, then fine, stay at home, it's your choice. Or if it your husband's choice, then you chose the wrong husband. This is the West, if you don't like our culture then no one is making you stay here.

Europe and the West in general is very much at the point that the Roman Empire was at before it collapsed. We have a luxurious lifestyle which cannot be economically sustained. We are not producing enough children. We have forgotten key aspects of our identity which hold us together as a group. And we are progressively allowing in millions of migrants whose religious culture is diametrically opposed to our traditional political and cultural way of life.

@Chris1492; the phrase "barbarians at the gates" springs more to mind, both for the Western and Eastern Roman Empire - in case you'd forgotten the latter, which was at its greatest extent around 560-600AD. Feel free to put on your blinkers as to what happened in the 7th century; it wasn't Christianity.

True enough albion99. However this is all by design. Our beloved leaders and their bosses have decided they've had enough of democracy; too much hassle, what with all those uppity peasants constantly complaining about their lot etc. No, it's time to return to the age of serfdom, just like we've always had - where our masters rule over us in every way. Our replacements are already at our gates, while our higher-ups are preparing to cull the herd ready for the next 'Spring.' Didn't you hear Poppy Bush announce the plan to the entire world back on Sept 11th, 1990, during his speech to congress?

Spot on Albion99 but you forgot one thing although you alluded to it by saying we can't afford things economically anymore-money debasement-printing currency to try and keep things afloat and keep our generous, unproductive societies running (which is impossible as they currently run). This is a serious problem and we are headed towards a vast economic collapse that it's the beginning of the end of Western Society as we know it. I advise all people reading this to get educated and to start preparing as this is exceedingly close now...

There are just too many people. The WHO & the UN, have let humankind down, they should have looked at the number of births that occur each day, years ago, around the world and done something about it. Births increase substantially year by year & no one governing body or country seems concerned enough to put quotas on their population (China tried) I look at humans and liken them to a plague of locusts on the planet moving into new-untouched areas & consuming everything in their path until its exhausted then move on to the next new area expanding ruthlessly until its all gone. If birth rates continue to go unchecked then I feel that in 50 to 100 years the planet will have lost most or all of its virginal rain forest in order just to feed and accommodate this new number of people. This continuous expansion of humans will have a great effect on the number of animals that go extinct, why should humans have the right to bread relentlessly at the expense of the animal kingdom. We're doomed.

As a society progresses it becomes more feminized, hence allowing more macho societies to take over. Look around the world and you will see male dominated countries maintaining their hegemony and female dominated ones decaying in their delusional idealism. No, it is the majority in the UK and the same kind in the rest of the world that is causing the downfall. Look how unintelligent hordes of the majority are. Watch a few UK versions of the Jeremy Kyle show if you are still in denial. Also, why is it that plenty of these "minorities" (as you put it) are more grammatically correct in their spoken and written English than many of the natives? Stop the denial.
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
DavidOfWiltsReply toMark Notts
What about minorities who come to this country because they like its way of life and adopt most of it , particularly the best parts of it rather than importing the very things that caused the poverty they wanted to escape from?
[ 0 ] [ 0 ]
Dimension9Reply toMark Notts
You are both right-paying millions of people over the past 40 years to do nothing but breed more unproductive and less educated individuals while bringing in millions from abroad to do the jobs they don't have to do because you are paying them to stay home is one of the main problems here. Note-it would have been okay if the government had only let in people who assimilate well (eg Poles)-but it has let in many from cultures that do not assimilate well at all- all speeding up the decline of Western culture and civilianisation. Add into that (the other main issue) huge deficit spending and waste and you have a group of societies (Most Western ones) on the brink of collapse...

They conveniently left out two factors with a high degree of correlation with the downfall of a society. 1) Weakening of social mores. A lack of common values leads to the collapse of right and wrong followed by moral relativism. This over time leads to, 2) Complete disregard for putting society ahead of self. With no common moral base, individuals feed their own indulgences with utter disregard of others. This is culminated with a completely open anything goes sexual culture that opposes the basic foundations of society. Complete failure inevitably follows.
