'A real life horror film': Terrified viewers watch from edge of their seats as SNAKES hunting as a pack chase down baby iguana in amazing footage for BBC's Planet Earth II that even shocked Sir David Attenborough

Another BBC / Attenborough masterpiece. It will be a shame when Sir David either retires or is unable to work on these programmes because they are the only thing that the BBC produces which are actually worth the licence fee. High quality, informative, engaging and consummately professional from beginning to end.bushmaster80
Wonderful as ever from the BBC Nature dept. Humans should appreciate just how easy we have it. Seconds old and most animals on the planet are in danger of being eaten before they have even had a chance to admire the view!Guernsey Girl
Best TV ever - incredible filming, and Sir David's commentary was sublime. Those snakes really gave me the jitters - never thought I would spend a few minutes on a Sunday night shouting at the top of my voice for the iguana to run faster! JEEZ..TheCynicalOptimist
Agree the snakes were scary - I was yelling at the little iguana to run! The albatross waiting for his mate tho - is it wrong to hope that ends up on Walk on the Wild Side with the penguins stopping to ask 'stood up again mate?' Or Mrs Albatross arriving and saying, ' what, you haven't even vacuumed the nest yet?' Loved it.lollypops123
Finally something well worth watching! No reality twoddle just good old fashioned educational tv. This is what should be shown not all this reality garbageWillowT
I've never seen anything like that in my life, my daughter and I were literally yelling at the TV for the little fella to escape. Unbelievable television.adamtwin
The iguanas and snakes footage was outstanding and mesmerising to watch (especially in HD) but I agree, it was quite nightmarish, like something out of a Greek Mythology film animated by the late, great Ray Harryhausen. Thanks to David and the excellent film crew, I look forward to the rest of the series.
