Loved the show. Ny husband thought I was having a fit as the iguana was getting away, as I was ducking And diving. Not to mention the audio.

That's what I call "Reality" TV! The whole programme was absolutely brilliant.

Brilliant as usual and with modern cameras and HD transmissions -fantastic to see the detail. Thank You BBC and David Attenborough.

I was overjoyed for the Albatross when his mate returned. I was cheering on the Iguanas, jumping up and down like they were running for Team GB.

Another BBC / Attenborough masterpiece. It will be a shame when Sir David either retires or is unable to work on these programmes because they are the only thing that the BBC produces which are actually worth the licence fee. High quality, informative, engaging and consummately professional from beginning to end.

Iguana 1, snake nil. A brilliant piece of filming.

Incredible! I hate snakes anyway and they were VILE! I've never cheered and shouted for an iguana before but I was 100% behind that little one that escaped them - the relief when he made it, wow!

Wonderful as ever from the BBC Nature dept. Humans should appreciate just how easy we have it. Seconds old and most animals on the planet are in danger of being eaten before they have even had a chance to admire the view!

Very very sad but this is nature .The animals have a chance to run unlike the Loreal ,Unilever rabbits etc for products so you can look like some wannabe .Also the dogs in China getting skinned alive for your " fake " fur on your coat .Sorry but true :(

Stunning programme, how they manage to get the shots they do is truly incredible. A viewing must.

Best TV ever - incredible filming, and Sir David's commentary was sublime. Those snakes really gave me the jitters - never thought I would spend a few minutes on a Sunday night shouting at the top of my voice for the iguana to run faster! JEEZ..

Absolutely disgusting? It¿s nature. It¿s a hard world and nature can be cold and cruel, but kudos to the whole BBC team, especially the cameraman, Good job.

Agree the snakes were scary - I was yelling at the little iguana to run! The albatross waiting for his mate tho - is it wrong to hope that ends up on Walk on the Wild Side with the penguins stopping to ask 'stood up again mate?' Or Mrs Albatross arriving and saying, ' what, you haven't even vacuumed the nest yet?' Loved it.

I've never seen anything like that in my life, my daughter and I were literally yelling at the TV for the little fella to escape. Unbelievable television.

Unbelievable television that sadly this rag is seeking to destroy...

@PeteJS - have to take issue with you. Far too much BBC output is not worth watching and I frequently resent the media tax. This was the exception that proves the rule ...

I'm 70 years old and I was doing the same. I was stressed out watching those poor hatchlings running for there lives.

The iguanas and snakes footage was outstanding and mesmerising to watch (especially in HD) but I agree, it was quite nightmarish, like something out of a Greek Mythology film animated by the late, great Ray Harryhausen. Thanks to David and the excellent film crew, I look forward to the rest of the series.

TV Gold! David Attenborough towers above anything else the BBC puts out in 2016!
