No, I don't buy dresses or blouses. I do buy" other clothes" (that whole going out the door nekkid thing doesn't work out well all for anybody, what with all the screaming and pointing and giggles and arrests), though not I-Trump wear. Too girly for me.

These "ski jump" carriers are not easy to operate... Russians can attest to that (number of take-off/landing crashes) - and that's with decades of building up experience. China have ZERO experience building, maintaining and operating carrier launched airplanes... not saying they won't get there, they will, but it will take decades before it becomes a formidable force. Right now it's just for show.

Of course it is. They acquited Kiev and Varyag (ex Soviet). The former is now in commission as Liaoning, the latter has become a hotel/amusement facility. The new ships are a copy not a ground up designed vessel. DM reporter fails to do proper research again.

All these people going on about how inferior Chinese products are. They are generally. My point though is that we said the EXACT same thing about Japanese products not even 40 years ago. Now their products are known for their quality and reliability. China is learning and we need to pay attention.

It is based on an old Soviet design. The jets cannot carry much ordinance because of the old ramp launch system. And yes, being made in China does put it at a disadvantage.
