This is nothing compared to the Foxcomm factory in Shenzhen. I worked for Huawei next door. That plant had 430.000 people working in there. Friday night at 6pm was manic

They Look So Sad... Almost, if I Dare, 'Drugged'! I can see that Not ONE of Them enjoys their Job. What's with the Regimented Line-Up's? Viewing All of the photo's gives a Feeling of just what a 'GULAG' Was / Is ! As for The I-Phone, Stick-It If this is what it causes! IF Only, I could Start-Up a Company Just to Employ ALL of These People Just to Give them a Descent Working Wage and then to See a SMILE upon Their Faces.. Only If I'm afraid..

*one employee revealing her salary was 2,020 yuan (£230) a month. An iPhone 6 in China costs 4,488 yuan (£480).* even if it takes one employee, 1 month to make 1 phone, you can already see the mark up and the crazy profit margins

Not one smile among any of them (apart from the lunch time!). Speaks volumes to just how awful and robotic the work environment is. Completely soulless and without any fun factor. One more reason not to buy an iphone / ipad. Apple, would american workers endure similar conditions in the workplace? I think not..... not only could this basically be considered slave labour, but Apple don't appear to care. More about profits than human well being.

Thank Nixon for all of these. Making a deal with China has sold all your business away.

Do you actually believe that is possible. My my the Trump manages to get people to believe anything. Do you realise what % of Apple's sales are now in China? Thought not

All of them chose to work there and the conditions are well known. 150 years ago rural workers CHOSE to work in the Yorkshire and Lancashire cotton mills because there was more money, better housing and infrastructure. Unfair? Stay in the paddy fields then.

I feel sorry for them. Not sure if I could cope, but then China's standard of living has increased so much over the decades. The govt there really did a good job of eliminating absolute poverty and hunger so everyone is living better than their parents and grandparents.

Is this what trading with Obama's America involves? I'd be happier trading with Russia.
