Apple is the epitome of pseudo-liberal corporations who care about nothing other than the bottom line. It's amazing how they have brainw*shed consumers into believing they "care" about human rights and the individual. Tim Cook would push over your grandmother to get to a dollar bill on the sidewalk.its not me its them
corbyn and "red" ken would need nappies, if this occurred in the uk.MalcolmRitchieReply toits not me its them
I think most people would "need nappies" if this happened here. The problem I have is that it's difficult to make out if you approve of these images or not. And would tolerate them happening here. But then naturally enough, ensconced in Southport, you probably wouldn't have to worry too much about being subjected to them yourself.princess_peach
The irony of all this is that Chinese can't buy original iPhones in China, however, they have enough money to come over to the US and buy the newest Apple gadgets, not only phones.AERI
So what? They don't have to work there if they don't want to.No one is forcing them to work there, and to be honest, I'm sure most of them are happy to have a job. This isn't that shocking. Mass production is always going to be driven by cheap labour. Pretty soon, China will be catching up with the West, so I'd expect to see the next factories in lesser developed countries where labour is even cheaper. Then, a 100 years down the line, we're all pretty much churning this consumerism.
