Rubbish, Has Russia never heard of Satellite monitoring. Also a type 45 destroyer could listen to there ships from half a world away no need for Submarines,

getting very busy in the med sea what with the US 5th fleet which has in the Med Sea the USN Dwight D.Eisenhower Carrier Strike force , with 4 additional AB destroyers attached to it , along with the French carrier and UK Joint Expeditionary Force, plus other coalition naval ships , that's approx. 230 fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, compared to Russians 15

'Could have had grave navigational consequences' is not the same as warning of grave consequences! The clue is in 'could have had'! Stop scaremongering!

It would make a good comedy sketch with Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse as submarine captains moving on from their roles as Dutch police officers.

Russia chased this sub because its close to their carrier group (spying) so they asked/chased to move "away". They did not said like "you dont belong in Mediterranean". NATO/UK ships followed Russian fleet in English channel, everyone was okay with it because they informed about this months ago but this incident is different.

What's the point in snooping on it. It's not a secret where the carrier is going. I know and I'm sat in my living room.

Now Is is almost out of the way, we need another thing to be scared of to fill that gap.

The amount of smoke the aircraft carrier was spewing on their transit of the English Channel suggests that it doesn't need to be shadowed by a submarine.
