Like the Germanwings pilot who ran the plane into a mountain killing everyone on board, a narcissist with an extreme sense of entitlement. It is all there(the signs) before they were hired, it just takes some due dilligence and understanding of how to keep these personality types out of your organization to begin with. Look at the work history, check references (I mean the ones that matter), double check employment history and hit them with some behaviorally based interview questions and if they answer with lots of I I I and Me Me me don't hire them!

It's not a gun problem. It's not a race problem. It's a mental illness problem. This guy had it on display for all to see,but no one really took it seriously enough. Really,the guy had a ton of jobs and lost or left every single one of them on bad terms. When the police have to be called to escort you out...that is huge. He sticks a wooden cross in the hand of the boss on the way out and says "you'll need this", That didn't register as a major threat with anyone or a sign that this guy was extremely dangerous? This country as a whole does not want to deal with the problem of mental illness. The increasing frequency of these horrible incidents is major proof. The handwriting is usually on the wall but no one wants to really stop and read it. This guy was bound to do something like this. I feel terrible for the loved ones of his victims.
the cross and other examples probably did register to the people receiving the threats. However, it is okay for a black gay guy to threaten you. If you object to the threat, you are a racist or a homophobe. My goodness, in the Ferguson fiasco, President Obama took the word of the robbery accomplice, who had multiple outstanding warrants, over that of the police officer, just because the accomplice and the thug the cop shot were black. There was no other reason for Obama not to believe the cop! So it is simple, blacks can only be fired for committing a crime against the employer, such as theft caught on video. They cannot be fired for incompetence or having a personality that causes actually good employees to quit.

Back in the nineties myself and three of my best friends worked out a five year contract with a business in LA to videotape presentations and create a catalogue of CDs and DVDs of very well known presenters. So we fold up our production company in Az. move it all to SoCal, rent apartments etc. Moving forward I was convinced we would all be millionaires 3 to 5 years. Then the people we contracted with IN LA close the entire venture down after only eight weeks, and I went pretty cra-cra for a few months. Luckily I was able to stay with family until I got back on my feet. Did nefarious acts of revenge haunt my nights?
I don't let this guy or james holms off on mental illness. This guy was taught hate from birth raised by racist and criminals. Blacks have to stop teaching their children that white people are holding them back. Since the 60's we have spent trillions to lift blacks out of despair but nothing works.
