My son who is 17 is 6ft 8 and still growing.

While I have always known I was taller than some, I had not realized that I basically towered over most. At 6'4 I always thought I was just slightly over average, as most of my friends were about the same height or taller. My son is 6'6 so I guess he is a giant...lol This just shows that statistical averages are really meaningless.

These IC "scientists" need to get out more if they think US height is due to junk food and Dutch height is due to "healthy nutrition". Dutch food is the most awful bar none, plenty of US junk food, plus some sugar-packed embellishments of their own.

Because of the massive import of different races into the UK the average height ofwomen seems to have gone down since the 50s.

I'm 6' 3" so I must be more evolved than my shorter friends.

Well i am a mancunian and our average height is 6 feet tall so that makes us the tallest city in the world,its them pesky southerners that are bringing are average down.
