Man jailed for months over $5 theft found dead in cell
You know.....here we go again.....most of you people MAKE ME SICK! Can't you just comment on something without making a racial issue out of it? It's the same old story from both sides.....blacks complaining inequality, prejudice and racism and then whites perpetuating racism, by making ignorant idiotic comments that they will say from behind the keyboard because they can with no consequence. Blacks....wake the f___ up and realize that it is YOU who are holding you back and causing your pain and strife by blaming your short comings and lack of whatever you think you don't have on white people. Whites.....then you in turn,
stereotype, generalize, secretly hate and despise blacks for YOUR shortcomings
and the reasons why you can't get ahead or live the American Dream! You know something mr. mpm80 and the 99plus people that like that comment....I challenge you to this....then next black person you see, tell them they are mentally ill....put your money where your mouth is!
Whites.....then you in turn,
stereotype, generalize, secretly hate and despise blacks for YOUR shortcomings
and the reasons why you can't get ahead or live the American Dream!
Partially true but just that. If the blacks weren't commiting most of the crime and leaching off of the system maybe more people could get ahead. YOU create the stereotypes by the life you lead.
Dang, does a Snickers Bar cost $5.00 at a 7 Eleven? I used to buy them for .5 Cents but I guess that showed I was mentally impaired eh? Family says he didn't receive the help he needed, So why didn't they ask for it befo he tangled up with a $5.00 Snickers Bar? Lot of questions here like, why no bail and why 40 days incarerating? Does a $5.00 theft equate equally for a $1000.00 theft? I have an inquiring mind here.
This happens all of the time. The prisoners are not monitored like they should be and what they say about their health is not valued so they get really sick and die.
From the article: "Medics at the jail say Mitchell refused to take his medication and officials also confirmed he refused to eat." LET'S CONTINUE TO BLAME ... WHITEY!
What about the deputy that got shot in the back by a black. No headline news there. Another riot & looting another black family getting rich off the tax payer. There is a speedy trial law and I do not believe any judge would deny bail for a snicker bar. THERE IS MORE TO THIS STORY..
Yes there was a headline about that case as well. There is no indication to support your idea that the family is trying to get rich or that there has been any rioting or looting in this case. Bail was denied because he was awaiting placement in a mental health facility as the judge decided.
Wow. I can't believe some of the nasty racist comments. He didn't murder anyone. He was ACCUSED of taking a candy bar. Since when do we arrest and deny bail to ANYONE who takes something as insignificant as a candy bar? He hurt no one. For all we know he intended to pay for it, or any number of other possibilities, but now he's dead, so we'll never really know.
I am amazed how all these parents seem to care more when the child is dead then they ever did when their child was alive.
To deslar111, you need to be SHOT for that comment. Just so you know buddy, I have probably helped more people...most of them white then you could ever dream of in your entire life! I probably make alot ,more money than you could ever make,
I also have a college education, have never been on welfare and neither have any of my family. So next time you have something like that to say keep it to your selfl!
The world turned upside down.
IF these things had happened to a young white man, $5 theft, bail denied (why?), refused to take meds and food and died in jail, -> it wouldn't be a story.
.
I can bet that there are people who think that young black men should never be 'busted' or charged for such 'petty' offenses. Not much different from that U of WI guy saying a few days ago that stealing from Wal-Mart should not be a crime.
-> Then what?
atypical of today's "justice" system. and after 'investigation', no one will be held responsible
