I wonder if anyone was on the toilet at the time? I hope they had time to flush.No1984
I used to fly Aeroflot between the U.K. and Turkey. You could always guarantee a cheap ticket and a row of three to yourself and there was only one reason for this...it was never a smooth ride and planes were falling to bits, rather like Egyptian Airlines. I don't suppose the pilots gave notice to buckle up owing to turbulence?Kentish MaidReply toNo1984
I presume you mean Egyptair. I lived in Cairo and I have flown the world with Egyptair. They are fine. Planes are new, not falling to pieces. Cabins are beautifully decorated. Food is average and no alcohol so at least you don't get to deal with the drunks. Perhaps you should try them some time.CE_SunnyDevon01Reply toNo1984
I used to work for the airlines and trust me, unfortunately, you don't always get warnings for turbulence. There will be an investigation carried out and part of that will be whether pilots were aware they were flying into turbulence. Many undetected turbulence happens during landings.fishcanfish
That like on my Lufthansa flight when cabin attendants forgot to secure those food trays. When we lift off with nose up there was a laud bang and all food was coming loose from shelves all over the floor. I had my own food, because you never know with airline food.Wendy Donnelly
Triumph Ace, there had been no order to fasten their seatbelts by this point as the plane was still an hour away from landing, according to the article. Passengers were still walking around in the aisles! This is not the fault of stupid passengers, as your comment implies.
